Thanks for all the good info guys, I will listen. I am going to buy 4 different brands with 180 grains and see which one shoots the best.

Barnes TSX and Winchester Ballistic SilverTip,  180 grain.

          If it was me I would buy 1 box of premium 180 gr ammo. Any of the ammo mentioned above will work for moose.  Then I would shoot it at 100 yards and if it shoots 2 inches or less I would have my moose load. (2 inches at 100 yards is 8 inches at 400 yards) Then go buy 3 more boxes of the same ammo and use 2 boxes to practice from different field positions. Take the ammo thats left and go shoot a moose.                      best of luck to you
