Looking for Texas Pronghorn outfitters
(1/1)

I am looking for a Texas Panhandle pronghorn hunt. I know it is a little early to worry about pronghorn, but I'd rather get the info early than too late. I prefer it to be spot in stalk but I'll consider anything. It needs to be fully guided. Price is the most important aspect (So I can hunt more of course) and I'm looking for the cheapest offer. So far the cheapest I've found is High Fling Outfitters for $1750. Has anybody pronghorn hunted with them? Thank you for your time.

My friend Gino Attardi, a member here at TH, is a big prong horn hunter, but I don't remember his site name here, but you can message him at FB, here's the link. He lives in TX near Dallas. He should have some suggestions.

The average price of pronghorn hunts in Texas is from $2400 to $3000, NF. I don't know many people who hunt big game ranches anymore because the prices have gone from ridiculous to absurd. Only thing I will suggest is... DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! Don't let price determine where you go. It doesn't do any good to save money on a hunt if there aren't any/many animals to hunt. Look for outfitters who will tell you the positives AND the negatives of their operations. Talk to as many people at each outfit as you can, not just the ones who want to sell you a hunt. They'll tell you what you want to hear and, not always the truth. Take your time with your decision. Nothing worse than spending that kind of money for a less-than-expected hunt.

I like your advise, but I can't afford to go to just any outfitter. Plus I am doing my homework, I'm asking you guys for some leads.
