Hi WV.  Were you at the 1981 Quarter Horse Congress?
I was there but not competing. I was there working a horse for a lady named Didi Polowski  not sure on spelling so she could ride it in barrels.

Remember the lady who won the American Reining Hore Assoc Ladies Open Reining Class?
Us working class boys didn't get to see much of the arena and bright lights. We just had the glimmer in the eye and Dreamed Some Day.

I was there in 79, 80 and 81....I was "working" with the Vet that was pulling the drug tests on the winning horses and then I showed my Apppaloosa's in the Ladies Open Reining Classes.  Won in 81

Congrats. That is a True Accomplishment. I worked a lot of the circuit just to get seat time on a horse and pay for my adventures.  @--0--0121

Ho Bo Pies well they are round or square cast iron mini griddles.  You put butter on two pieces of bread and put them butter sit against the iron.  Then you fill the bread with pie filling, pizza fixins, cheese, any other sandwich stuff.  Close the iron and it seals the bread cutting off the crusts, place it on the hot coals of a campfire......
pie filling? ok you will have to fix some so I can try them   ##$%#111

I will stop at the store and get everything we need when I get there.  Kids love the mini pizzas
I bet they would go good with a blackberry filling in them

A lot of work, I would not have been there if I were not working for Rimwald Appaloosa and dating the vet.

Lori, I will make our world even smaller.  I graduated High School in Ohio with one of Hunt Master's distant cousins....
