What Gear are you getting in 2012?

Order a new Puma Catamount II hunting knife. I think I have gotten a new Puma knife every year for the past 25 years and have built up a nice collection as well. All the ones I like and have are made in Germany and some say West Germany on them and all of them have the bone or stag handle. Split Toe also has a nice collection of them. 

Order a box of Hornady 208 Gn A-Max bullets to try in the 300 WSM, and 300 Win Mag. May try them in the 30-06 and just might try them in a 308, whenever I can back to the range. Also a new face mask, propane caps and a light weight camo jacket that was on sale. One important item was a couple of Thermocell refill packs. Down here in the South, the Thermocell is one of the first item in the back pack, if not the bugs will eat you up......

One bullet that I don't have is Speer's Deer Curl. Have a couple of boxes on my wish list, have read nothing but good things about them and my shooting buddy loves them in certain calibers and they are pretty cheap to shoot.

Well gang, here it is August already and if you have not gotten you gear for the upcoming season, it is now or never. You can count on from Sept on, the inventories will start drying up and you may not get those items that you have on your list by the start of deer season! Get off the pot and get going. hahaha.....

I've got a couple of more things I need and will order those this weekend or next week at the latest!!! This weekend is Tax free weekend here in Tennessee, unfortunately not for hunting items.

I got the stands and cams taken care of. Will be taking care of the Polaris Ranger, slug gun and rest of the huntin clothes when I get home. Just waitin to get off the boat to go sign the papers on the Ranger, going to Whittaker's gun shop up in Ky to get the slug gun and Bass Pro Shops in Pratville to get the clothes
