Two Tales:
we have been practicing the calls..talked safety, coming and leaving, stratagies and all sorts of other things...including wheter to pluck or skin...to who is gonna carry the bird out...but what we haven't got figured out is were to find camo for a 9 year old "thin as a nail girl"...that wont break Grandpa's fixed income budget..... any suggestions...??

you'll probably be in a blind, right? in that case, anything black will work.

PS if you aren't using a blind, you will have a tough time keeping her from moving. i would suggest a blind 100%

have a blast. taking my daughter out this weekend

I don't have a pop up or a set blind...her sitting still and calling or no moving isn't a problem..there is also the the idea of being in full camo like Grampa...I know it doesn't really matter, but to her it is very important...we have already done some scouting..showing her the sign and what to look for...even though she can not actually hunt (carry an gun or shoot game) she is able to tag along and even call for me..she is so excited all most as much as me
