It seemed set up. Did you notice the punji sticks in the foreground? I am thinking the turkey was captured and penned in there somehow for the eagle to swoop. That eagle wold not swoop in with some guy holding the camera. A trial cam on a booby trap set-up perhaps?

I have to disagree...after close examination and blowing up the footage there are no strings or nets or legholds, and your "punji sticks" are fence posts with a hog wire fence attached to them... we have had eagles and hawks of all types swoop in on game birds and fish not more than a few feet away from us...even had an osprey land on the front end of my canoe once...
as far as the turkey's reaction to the incoming air assult....I saw the exact same reaction last spring when that big mean ol' woodpecker attack the tom I was working in....

Awesome video.  My buddy was out hunting and saw a golden try and take out 2 jakes.  He said it was the wildest thing he has ever seen.
