I learned something today about Turkeys!
« on: March 21, 2012, 09:19:29 PM »
Now granted I am not a big Turkey hunter, would love to try it but have never had the time to learn nor the place to go, but I was watching a show where they were explaining some things about Turkeys. What I learned is that the Turkey's neck turns blue when he is excited and red when ready to fight! I have seen Turkeys with different colored necks but didn't know that was why  @--0--0117. Can you "Turkey Guru's" confirm this?

Thanks!

I have seen them mostly red, mostly blue and a little of both but I cannot confirm what they were thinking...
