Geese think it's spring

Well this morning I saw a pair of geese and the female was setting on a nest , with snow from this weekend snow still on the ground .  @--0--0117

i've seen a few single geese flying around. i was wondering if their mate was on a nest?

We see large flocks still flying here, not seen any sign of them pairing up or starting nesting yet, but would expect to soon
