This Happen At a Gun Show
« on: January 30, 2012, 04:24:00 PM »
Folks - You are not going to believe this but there was a gun show here in East Tennessee and there was a discharge of a weapon at it this past Saturday inside the building where the gun show was being held!

The custom notice that a vendor was carrying a semiautomatic pistol and he wanted to see it. Well the vendor drop the magazine out and then preceded to shoot himself in the hand...He never check to see if it had one in the chamber!  @--0--0129   Daaa...The noise was so loud that everyone stop what they were doing and the cops ran to the area where the shot was fired with their hands on their guns, just in case. But you could have heard a pin drop in the building for a few seconds. The placed was packed and if you are a customer you firearm you are bringing in to sell or swap is check at the door with a Ty wrap put through it so it cannot be loaded or fired.

No charges were brought against anyone, but the guy was rushed to the hospital for sure. Talk about being dumb and not checking the barrel to see if it had one in the pipe was just plain stupid. You will never have to worry about that guy anymore, you know he will be safety first type of guy....from here on out!

Thought I would share this with you all.....

There was another show not long ago that something like that happened....just don't understand how they let someone in with ammo like that to begin with.....then the fact that the guy didn't ck it out thoroughly himself first. Lucky someone didn't get seriously hurt.

NoteRite - He was not a customer, they have police at the front door to make sure the firearm is not loaded and they put a Ty-Wrap through it and cannot fire....he was a vendor there who was showing a customer his personal weapon....

Also they arrested a guy yesterday (Sunday) for stealing a 22 pistol on Saturday and coming back to the show on Sunday and stealing a 357 Magnum and then selling it to a customer on the floor...busted!!

Yea, you cannot fix stupid even with duct tape....well said Yari....Thanks....

Wow, what a dummy. Its hard to belive that a man that sells and IS LEGAL TO TOTE a weapon, would be stupid enough not to check his firearm before showing it to a potential customer.  @--0--0129

Wow!! I am glad no one else was hurt. I amazes me that this stuff still happens. I guess even to pros get too cocky sometimes and that's all it takes. It seems more and more that the old dogs need reminding more than the newbes.
