After I put the "yote getter" to bed and was heading out for chores. The boys club was visiting the silage buffet.

Nice pictures Dutch, that should start getting you fired up for the spring. As long as you can keep the yotes under control you may still have them around for the spring gobbler season

It always amazes me when I see large flocks of turkeys in the wintertime, and in the spring, they scatter far and wide.

The only thing you think with a scene like that is "Now which one do I shoot??  ##$%#113" What a great flock of birds.

The boys are now roosting just south of the barn every morning. The girls are roosting west of the farm along the hay field. Depending on weather and timing I'm going to start taking a camera with me for chores. I will snap a few shots and add them here. The next couple of days are going to be brutally cold (Thursday we may not see 0) so it may not be 'til the weekend. There is about 20 birds in the boys club and 50 in the hen house. My problem with spring hunts is timing, field work is in full swing at the same time. Thats why I rely so much on fall and winter hunting.
