Georgia Rut Observation
« on: October 26, 2011, 12:28:19 PM »
The cool weather has started alot of scraping and rubbing activity. Seeing alot of small bucks and does. This weekend should get the crusing phase started and the chasing soon. The peak in the county I hunt is around the 15th of November. We've got some rain moving in Friday and another cold front on the way. Things should be full swing by the full moon about the second week on November.

The ruting in Georgia is own in middle Georgia. The bucks have been chasing does for the last four to five days...It's time to be in the woods. Starting to see some good bucks in the day light hours!!!

Starting to see some new scrapes on our lease and my property...looks like the secondary rut is starting to unfold!
