I saw three family sets of poults this weekend with 10 to 12 in each group.

Rain and rotten weather messed up a lot of nests early this year so the turkeys had a chance to have a second breed before it got too late in the season. Hopefully the poults will be established enough before the really cold weather hits.

turkey season was a wet one now on to deer hunting in October

i saw some around the house that were near full grown and some that were smaller than your picture. it was a long egg laying season this year i guess. wet spring i suppose.
