Fungi
« on: September 07, 2011, 08:03:40 PM »
It will only take a couple of lines to share my knowledge of mushrooms. The big white one is a puffball and is edible, tastes a little on the nutty side. The one that looks like coral is called coral fungi and is also edible, I guess, I never have tried them. The other two are not edible. I have been told with fungi if its red could make you dead. That's all folks no more fungi smarts. Except for morels yum yum they don't last long enough to get their pictures taken.

Fungi are always interesting.  I had a big oak cut down in my front yard and a couple of years later, I got a tremendous crop of some orange fungi.  They looked like flowers.  I got pictures somewhere in my computer at home.

And that concludes my knowledge of Fungi thanks. I love mushrooms but don't know enough to pick my own so I stay away from them all.  @--0--0133 @--0--0130
