I have been!  %^$^

Been releasing arrows at 11 (rangefinder's minimum distance) to 20 yards, 30 yards, and 40 yards and variations inbetween. So far... dead deer. Well, 3D deer. I feel a lot better about my shots this year than I have in many past years. I've been able to put in considerable more practice this summer. Helps now that my son wants to get out and shoot.  ;D

I've been shooting the last week or so with the family to start getting everything limbered up. My seven year old loves it, so it's easy to get out for a few minutes in late evening (getting dark, but since that's when the deer move it's a good time to practice!). We're shooting a 3D Cabelas deer, which is a ton of fun for the kiddo and us. Hubby and I occasionally shoot from the second story deck for tree stand practice. So far I've been pretty happy with my shots, nearly all of them in the vital area. The few that didn't have just about all ended up in the neck and were likely still quite deadly.  @--0--0105

This week I was supposed to hit it hard and put in some serious time, but my back seized up on me so I've been down the last few days. Going to try to get out tomorrow though, see if she'll hold up. Need to get everything sighted in too... Now where did I put my range finder?

Finally got a lot of issues resolved with my bow, and now I've been slinging em quite a bit.  I'm shooting OK right now.  I just have to get my left arm strengthened to steady my aim a bit.  DT

Really liking my new bow. Shot it tonight before my buddy showed up and then we played with his .17 and my .308 on the chronograph. Tomorrow I will shoot out the upstairs window in the garage for the treestand practice.  @--0--0121

few times a week ...but really need to get out the other 3-D and hit the stands ....5wks to go...but loving the new bow...had to get adjusted to the speed...flattened out my shots considerably....having to  get use to a release was a bit costly......some where way out in my woods are a few arrows
