I miss my compound but the folks that are working on trying to fix my left elbow are saying this is not anything that can be brought back to 100% and that I may never be able to use my compound again.  Soooooooo if I want to hunt during archery season crossbow is where it will be at.

I shot the newest Parker Crossbow which uses a airtank like Paint ball guns use to cock it and let down ( Awesome) and very accurate.

I hear ya, Dave.  Have shot 'em before but I'll stick to regular archery too.

I hunt with a crossbow here in Michigan, they made it legal last year and I really like mine, I still wouldn't take a shot at an animal much farther than my compound tho. I have shot at 60 yards at a target but that is it it was just a target not somthing that would jump the string.

Yeah that looks pretty cool but pretty pricey too!

Yeah a bit pricey but very cheap if it is the only way that would allow you to extend your season. It would not be practical for hunters that do not have a need for it but it would be a lifesaver to some.

Uses the same airtank that Paintball guns use and Academy and a lot of Sporting goods stores refill them cheap...
I love them and with the air let off of the Bolt is very quite and keeps you from having to keep a old bolt to let down the string...
Boy I wanted to win that one that they where shooting at Marks Outdoors real bad...
