My season is finished too!

Well, when things go wrong they really go wrong....had all aspirations on going out and finishing the season this A.M. but late last night my son-in-law called and both their cars are broke down and he had to borrow my truck to go to work @--0--0126....well as always your family comes first so their goes my season and the Hunt for that big Tom...he's still there....beter luck next fall and spring...was one of the worst weather wise seasons that we have had EVER!!!!!!!  I'm a little down about it this morning but I'll cheer up when I sight in that new CVA acurra the wife got me ;D for this fall....... @--0--0118
ANY DAY HUNTING/FISHING IS A BETTER DAY THAN WORKING

I hear ya, DPD.  Family first, every time.   With that new ML, you'll be ready for that ol' tom come fall!!    Sorry you weren't able to make that last hunt for this year.   That always "goes down wrong", but couldn't be helped.
They're ALL trophies...it's just that some are bigger than others!

well i am with ya dave i was going to go this morning but instead i am going golfing with my son andrew and my neighbor this morning before it gets to be 90 here
turkey season was a wet one now on to deer hunting in October

Family does come first...look on the bright side you guys have a fall season. Enjoy sighting that new CVA should be lots of fun. The weather has been crazy for everyone this year!

Like I said when it goes wrong it goes wrong....my daughter calls this morning and ran out of gas on the way to work...took her a gallon to get to the gas station...I guess it was lucky I didnt go...and while putting gas in the car I look over at a Tom strutting in a field (no hunting allowed) I just said go ahead and tease me....my times a coming ;D

your right possum, I glassed that Tom in a plowed lot yesterday and his beard was dragging on the ground and he was really light colored except for that big red hed....wouldnt leave his hen...I was going to be there today right where I've seen him twice now but he's always a little out of range...He is one big boy @--0--0118
