My season is finished
« on: May 29, 2011, 07:21:14 AM »
I took a bird...and called one in and gave it a pass...Called in a bird for Mr.B. and this morning was my last time out...what a great morning! birds but had 4 buck walk within 15-20 feet of me and poked at my Jake and hen decoys ...had 3 nice doe walk in the same distance and watched 6 others walk on and off the property...a huge...yote and a fox...I sat pretty much in the open in a big fold up camo arm chair I carried in was wild ;D

This was a very nice season when I could beat the rain....and the greenest by far...hope you all had as good a time as I did...Well here's to a good fall hunt ##$%#112

Ya, man! Just nice to have the opportunity to get out, am I right? I've only been out once this season for a few hours. And although it was relatively uneventful, I just cherish my good fortune which allows me the opportunity to be able to be out and about in Nature. It truly is a blessing. If I never tag another animal, it wouldn't keep me from trying, if only for the enjoyment of trying. Glad to hear you had a nice last day! That for sure sounds like one heck of an awesome day in the wild.

@--0--0133 Congrats and yes, here's to a good Fall hunt! I hope I'm more successful in the Fall  @--0--0126 @--0--0100 @--0--0105

I got my bird 4 days after my 29 day season, and I'm already looking forward to my fall season.  Sounds like you had a great season this year.  Congrats.
