That's a great bird and hey...I'd welcome someone stopping me to give game away....Half our deer meat is from the guys that hunt camp and don't eat deer meat...or the wives don't want it at the house @--0--0117

Dave, my bets are he 1) didn't have a tag or 2) wanted the chance to get a larger (or was after a larger) bird and didn't want to "waste" his tag on this one. ope your friend didn't get caught with it?  @--0--0117

this bird was a big trophy bird, we can get 2 birds in the spring...as to the tag issue @--0--0117...my buddy didn't get caught with it....he will not waste any wild game even if he had to0 tag it with his own tag ;D...I just don't know why they do it..the shooter kept the beard and my buddy said it was 9 or so inchs log...he didnt have a measuring device so it was an approximation...I liked the bird ;D

I'm confused.....  ##$%#1119

Why in the world would you give away a turkey..... PERIOD, the only one I have ever given away was to my Paw Paw, and I only gave hime half the breast  ;D

I smell a rat on the killer's part.  I bet he didn't have a tag, but still you think if he cut the beard off he would have took those hooks with him, those are some sure enough good hooks. I can see if it was a two year old but not a three and up.
