I have seen so many comments about how people like this site... Why? What is making this site different than the other hundred forum sites about hunting? Again...I do not think it has anything to do with me, the moderators or anyone else involved with this site behind the scenes. There is a chemestry here that I cannot explain. Can you?

At the moment everyone seems to get along and not get to wound up about anything..

Also, some of the sites I've been on or just sat and read for long periods of time seem to be very "clicky" and not very friendly to newbies..

It's like sitn' around a giant campfire at night after an all day hunt. The comrodery, the B.S., the information sharing, just having fun. I have already learned a lot about hunting, food plots, stand placement, looking for signs in the off season, etc. By the time hunting season starts this fall I hope to be a more well rounded confident hunter to share with others. Experience counts, thanks guy's...just keep on sharing with us who are still learning the basics.

I don't think it's the site. I think it's the people. We all got here from Whitetail Institute. A common link. Your just one lucky dude. I was  looking at my newsletter from W I  and saw the site. Once we started chatting, it just took off. Probably wouldn't have happened if you had run the ad in "O".

the kind of people does make or break a site that's for sure but the folks behind the site are to commended too .  things so far here seem to be pretty laid back . some of those forms are just hummm . oh well that's the way it goes . so lets just keep this site  good to go .

This site is so good because your the HUNT MASTER. Who wouldn't want to learn from a MASTER. On a serious note, I think it's the people here. This has got to be the friendliest form (so far) that I have been involved with. "You are wise young grasshopper but yet you have so much to learn." ;D

The people, the information passed.  The things that almost all of share in common.  I especially enjoy reading the stories of our fathers, uncles and mentors of the woods.  But I enjoy reading the stories we tell as we pass this tradition to our children who are now keeping the memories and the traditions alive.    Relive your youth, take a kid hunting!

I hate it when on other sites if you don't use what the majority is using then your  are a inferior person in their eyes. This one to me is  just like fresh home made bread. What a treat.

Our sport takes enough flack from too  many groups. As hunters, we all need to stick together, regardless of what bow we shoot, if we like or dislike a certain product.. I feel like most everyone here respects others opinions, that is what makes this site fun and entertaining.and sets it apart. Hunt however, and with whatever we like, just hunt!

I love this site.  It is a great way to exchange ideas and information.  I can't wait until the hunting season starts as the communication will be non stop.  This site has only touched the tip of the iceberg.  The best is yet to come.

Is this your first time here? We get a lot of guests and while we are happy to see you stop by, we would love for you to become a member. Its free and a lot of fun. If you are unsure how to proceed, send me an email at huntmaster@talkhunting.com and I can walk you through it. If you have never done this kind of thing before, it is easier than you think.

As a guest, you are also limited to what you can see and get to. Not all boards or pictures are accessable to guests so you have to join to really get the whole picture....

Dont just stay a guest.... become part of the family...

Members, what do you have to say?
