first walleye of the season

Well looks like it will be a good year for the walleye fishing this year. went out today for the first time 3 casts and bam. 20" walleye. can only keep 1 as of right now so I just had to catch and release the rest.  @--0--0118

the croix opens this weekend, but i will be working at the cabin. hopefully spring is back to stay and i will get out next week.

wALLEYE is the best fresh water fish out there. great start to the season

Nice going. A 20 inch 'eye is the best size for eating. Waiting for the May 14th opener in MN. Fired up the old Merc 50 yesterday, getting the boat ready...
