This turkey hunting business is crazy!
« on: April 23, 2011, 05:27:46 PM »
Got up at 2:30 am this morning to go meet ZLong so we could be in Fayette, Alabama by daybreak.  Got there and the place was flooded and the birds weren't talking. But we did see two gobblers....running down the access road as we were about to leave.  Just couldn't make it happen. We did manage to kill two cotton mouths. As a matter of fact, the last two trips with Z, he's put me on snakes!  Man I'll be glad when he gets those Straight Creek calls. Maybe then he'll call me up a turkey instead of Ol' No Shoulders!  Just kidding, I had a good time Zach. Thanks for taking me.
