Honeysuckle Bush

I don't know what these are really called but they are bloomin' like crazy in the woods right now. They gow as a small bush not a vine. Saw this one today while shed hunting and thought I would share.

Its not what I always thought mountain laurel to be as it has small thin leaves and slender limbs whereas what I always considered to be mountain laurel has a broad leaf and thick limbs, but you may be right, I just don't know for sure.  @--0--0117

You have to love creation! The beautiful stuff that shows up in the spring just puts a whole new twist on spring doesn't it?? Amazing how just the blooming of a bush or flower can make you feel warm and put a smile on your face.

Looks like a mountain laurel of some type - keep an eye out for bears - they seem to love the laurel in my area this time of year
