hey guys I tryed this last year and it work great, I took my jake decoy and a can of really bright red enamel paint. painted  part of the head that is red already with that bright red enamel. when old tom came in he was really hot he jumped that jake decoy and knock him plum off the peg.  -0078     @--0--0109

sounds good, i check my dekes and use paint on them before every season to increase the realism.  most good duck and goose hunters do the same.

i also use white paint to really highlight the hen decoys wing feathers. it's amazing how much more they stand out. seems to work
