Know how you feel , it was 10 months after I lost my 13 1/2 year old pointer Barnie that I got my GSP Sadie , have fun being retrained .

@--0--0105  That is exactly right....I am being retrained.  So much has improved since I first did training 17 years ago.  I am amazed.

Great looking Pup you got their.
It's hard to get another one after being so close to the one you had.
I have a lab and he is officially retired from the hunt, his hips are going out. I just recently got a terror though  @--0--0105 A weimaramer
He is gonna be a doozie to train.

We have talked about the weimars....they are interesting to train but once there they are great.  Mine is asleep on my king size bed along with my lab right now.

It's never easy losing a member of the family Jim. Looks like your new pup will fit into the family just fine. Never a replacement, just an addition!  @--0--0137

Jim, Nice pup! I really like the liver colored GSP. Almost got one myself. Not a replacement for your lost Casey, just another chapter to be written in your dog life. Keep up the work on the birds. Early introduction to birds really pays off later. Enjoy your pup!

I plan on getting him on birds at least once a week....if not more.
