When I get off, will be going to a private lake. Hopefully the bass will be biting. Gonna try a swimbait for the first time ever.

Only went for about 1.5 hrs. but caught 5. No size to them but was fun for the first trip of the year. Did not have any takers on the swim bait but a couple did nip at it. Caught my fish on a lipless crankbait and a senko type worm.

@--0--0123 Sounds good! I love a Senko! Like you i don't use the name brand though, too expensive! Bass pro has some that work great.

PJ, a swim bait is a soft plastic designed to look just like a natual bait. They just got popular in the last couple of years. They are a "cast and real" type bait mostly but can be worked in different ways. I don't care for them either. But I do have a couple of them just in case!  @--0--0117
