Nice doe down in Illinois!
« on: November 20, 2010, 10:12:08 PM »
Had a great hunt today with my wife and 18 year old son. Had two does come in at 4:25, I shot the lead doe. I pointed to the other one for my wife, she hit it bake a bit. We tracked her for at least 300 yards, pieces of gut on ground, blood, then nothing! Never lost a deer that way? Wifes all down, told her everyone at one time or another is going to loose one. Anyway, fresh back straps on Monday! Good luck to all!!!! ##$%#113

Sorry to hear that about your wife's deer DC. No one ever enjoys losing a deer, but like you said it does happen. She'll get the next one!
