time to block up the boat
« on: October 07, 2010, 08:27:32 PM »
##$%#12 decisions to make, keep the boat in for another 2 weeks or pull it for the winter? haven't used the boat since labor day now that archery season has kicked in. alredy bagged meat for the freezer, now it is time to collect on a rack or do i forget about the rack til gun season kicks in (i would still be using my crossbow) and fish for the fall rockfish bite? ah, the decisions we must make  ##$%#116 or ##$%#1115

I like to do both... Hunt mornings fish till dark...
It's also nice to have a heated full basement and woods and water near by..
My best fishing occurs mid December ...

Deer fill the freezer a lot quicker than fish do. I love to fish to, but it's a no brainer for me when hunting season gets here. My boat is done for the year. I'm sure you will be happy with whatever decision you make. Either way it's a win win for you.  @--0--0123

Tough call... deer fills the freezer faster as gutshot said... but then surf and turf with venison and rockfish together...  ##$%#111

I wish I had this dilemma. You got time to shoot deer. The rockfish and fair weather get gone quick-- If youwant some fish you better go get some fish while the getting is good JMO good luck either way
