NY Saltwater License
« on: September 18, 2010, 09:16:11 AM »
Well Dad and I are going fishing today and I just purchased my "saltwater" fishing license on line.  Dec says they are just giving warnings now but the town bay constables are issuing tickets, so I didn't take a chance and got the license.

Hope the legislature defeats this license stuff next year.

And we have been ordered by the powers that be, its catch and release, she does not want any fish coming home!!

I agree about the Salt Water license stuff. I mean soon enough these money hungry legislators will finally run out of things for which to ask permit money. Think about it, it's not like CT has a massive shoreline to do any damage to the fisheries. That is if you can find a place that isn't fenced or posted so you can reach the water with a cast.  @--0--0127

We have a saltwater stamp, And have had it for a long time. They do a great job here in Texas and I think the money has really helped. Speckled trout are bigger and Redfish a plentiful. Good job TPWD!  --9-908
