Waterfowl hunting

What is the duck hunting like....grain fields, lakes or streams?  Also, what are the most typical species that are around?

We hunt a lot of fields with corn in them. We also have water shed ponds and river holes we will go to when it freezes. We mainly shoot mallards but we shoot a lot of pintail, widgeon and gadwall. the nice thing bout this year is we can shoot 2 pintail..
