first off glad to see you on the board bud - grabbed any more fletchings - ??? - anyways to your question - i use an occasional doe bleat - since if i have a doe near by a grunt might scare her off - but if it is an alpha doe - she will be curious of the new doe and maybe come investigate - and the same i think would happen with a buck - but that is what i think - and you and i both know - i don't know much ;)

If you are after does you could try a fawn ball this will sometimes bring in a doe to see if it is her fawn in trouble .

I have used a fawn bleat as well.Right now is when the does are starting to wean their fawns but still step back in if they feel they are in trouble.

Also an immature buck bleat couldn't hurt, unless you're hunting does, then don't because it could spook mature does to avoid the bother of bucks right now. Other bucks are curious and I know they're sparring now setting dominance, so I'd be tickling the antlers off and on with some soft young buck grunts. Maybe the big boy will come by to show the little ones they better watch it!
