Praying mantis at a very odd place

Stopped for gas this morning and saw the odd totally out of place creature.
A Praying Mantis posing on top of the Gas Pump, Was it Praying for lower Gas prices which jumped 10 cents yesterday?
Forgive me on using the Cellphone Camera it was all I had at the time.

Very cool.  I saw a couple while mowing plots last Friday.  They enjoyed my clover, until I mowed it that is.
