I have an old Dam Quick open face reel I recieved in a trade anyone else have one of these?

I had never heard of it until you mention it,,, I google it and read a bunch of info on it looks good from the vintage 50's model to the new models today. Looks like the earlier model was German Made so it should be good.
Take a picture of it and model number..

I had one as a kid and they are a very fine reel.  Go to www.bassmastermagazine.com
They have a section there that you can get an approximate value on antique fishing tackle.  Let us know what you find out, ok?
Retired after 34 yrs. on Jacksonville (Fl.) Police Dept.  19 yrs. in patrol and last 15 yrs. in C.S.I.
Now I can hunt and go bass fishing anytime I want!  Started deer hunting in 2007 but, had many years as a teen hunting rabbits and squirrels.
