NC Hunter Mentor Pledge Program.....
« on: June 10, 2010, 09:39:27 PM »
Thought I'd mention the Mentor program for NC hunters who pledge to take a new hunter afield this year! They'll send a hat and bumpersticker for your commitment to take out a new hunter and they'll want a survey completed early next year! You can access at this link: http://ncpaws.org/Surveys/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=l2LH774  or if it should fail, the www.ncwildlife.org website has the link on the home page!  ##$%#116

That's awesome you posted this WNCDEERHUNTER... I just got an e-mail this morning that Vermont became the 30th state to enact this program. I'll post the link in a new thread so I don't steal yours, but just wanted to chime in on how much I think this is going to be a great thing for new hunters. REALLY lets them get into it before having to wait until they are old enough for the course.

That is great news! I agree it is a great program and should help tremendously when bringing along new hunters and sparking some new interest in the sport!!! Congrats on the addition of this program in your state!!!!!  @--0--0118
