Any imfo on where to catch some would be appriciated. I have never caught one. I am taking the whole 6 of us.

I dont know about KEntucky but Wellsville Wildlife Area in Missouri. Nice red ear there. @--0--0101 finding some!

Red ears are bottom feelers, so fish on the bottom or right near it and use red wiggler worms, they like them the best.

Its kinda like a giant bluegill. I am talking 1 and 1/2 to 2 lbs a peice.

Here, we call them chinquapin and some people call them shellcrackers, because they feed on small clams and such.

Okay, we call them shell crackers!!!!! Caught some of them yesterday while cattin and these were at least 1# a piece!!!!

I ended up not going. I'll explain next time I see you. Just remind me. I hated to miss it. I am use to being at least half way organized but these guys need some work. I don't think I am going to be helping with this group much longer. I am only staying now for the kids. I am hoping some will fish with us the 22nd.
David and I were suppose to fish my company tournament today but we had other obligations come up at the church. I am looking forward to the 22nd of may. I hope to see you and your family there.
