OK....I had issues with the profile picture also as it was an avatar...using HP image zone ....I saved the picture to a .png file....set the crop to a square size contraint...and then resize the photo to custom size with a 75 x 75 preserve aspect ratio.....

These instructions DO NOT apply to posting pictures on the forums just for the profile which is an avatar......

For posting pictures select resize to WEB/Blog size 320 x 240 on the aspect ratio which will get your file size to the size limit constraints....

Happy hunting!!!!      ##$%#1114

You have two choices: do something or do nothing!!!!

When did common sense stop being the norm and became the exception?

I found an easy way.  I right click on a picture and "open with" Microsoft Office Picture Manager.  On the Menu bar click "edit picture".  Then an the far right there is a tool bar.  At the bottom of the list is "compress image".  one of the options is fit to web page.  click that and it will resize the image automatically.
