This is tippy our camp mascot from 06 and 07 I have not gotten a pix of him this year yet so I hope he made it through winter. I know he made it through the hunting season.

 They can get along fairly well on three legs . For the last three years I have seen a doe with a badly brocken left front leg that has raised three pairs of fawns . She does walk slowly though . ;D ><((

I would let him go also.  Just follow how he is doing from year to year & if he starts going down hill take him out of the herd.  Looks like he is doing fine it those picture.

Post more of him if you get any this year.

 I've seen a doe near my property with one leg missing and a couple fawns with her. I think Tippy makes a great mascot and the name is fitting.

MT if you get the chance this weeks North American Whitetail TV program has a spot on 3 legged deer both bucks and does . It's on the outdoor channel Friday at 2:30 pm . In fact one look just like yours . ;D
