I have gotten an Eastern, and a Rio, but I'm not planning on completing the slam.  Both birds were jakes.

I am needing a Rio to complete my Grand Slam.

I dont have a favorite. All were excellent hunts. The scenery was very unique everywhere that I went.

I was laying in a foot of snow May 1st in Wyoming when I got my Merriams. I was sitting in a swamp in Florida mid March, watching eagles and calling Osceolas. Both were great hunts.

A lot can be said for hunting all day and sleeping in my own bed right here in KY

I get to harvest three Easterns a year but never have had the opportunity to hunt any other species. But, plan to some day.
