Coming right along there is nothing better than hunting with a dog you have raised and trained yourself.

Mac,
Katy will have to prove herself before I'd ever consider breeding her.  Her temperment is very good- so that's not an issue.
She will have to earn her AKC Master Hunter title before I would ever breed her.  I am also involved with NAVHDA and will
be running her in a Natural Ability test late this spring...... from there, we will begin to train for the Utility test.

Breeding hunting dogs is a very serious endevour if you plan to do it right.  I don't go into anything half-cocked, I fully
understand the amount of time, effort & money it takes to breed good hunting dogs- not sure if I'm up for that kind of work
again.  I wanted a pointing dog that I could hunt just about anything with & I believe Katy will fit the bill.

But breeding............. I just don't know if I have it in me.

Great looking dog and great pictures.  Your pics of your pup reminds me of when my dog was a pup.  He is now is now 13 years old and starting to slow down now but when he was a pup he looked just like yours.
