I like Remington nitro mag. 3" in #4 shot you get just about the same performance as a turkey load, but you get 25 in a box as for turkey loads you get 10 for the same money.  -0078     @--0--0109     ##$%#111

Nitro shells are the best but high I shoot federal flight control now.
same here those federal's sure do a number on a turkey the wad will kill a turkey out to 25 or 30 yards i bet.

While I've tryed may different brands my favorite is Winchester Supreme High Velocity #5 shot 3 1/2 inch.   @--0--0109

I ALWAYS use Winchesters #6's!
I used winchester supreme #6 before I switche dto the Nitros and they worked great!!

I use 3 inch Winchester #5'sl.  I find, though, the key is geting 'em in nice and close - then the load really works well!

Same here but I use #6's, I bought 5 boxes last year at $8.99 a box, Academy has them for $13.99 A BOX THIS YEAR.  @--0--0117  My mom didnt get a bump up on her Social Security this year because inflation went down, Sorry I guess thats another story.

Not sure if they still make it but the Remington shells that had both #4 and #6 shot for my 12 gauge Mossberg 500. And for my New England 10 gauge, Federal #6 shot. This is what I used years ago.
