These critters could destroy the eco-balance of the GREAT Lakes!

I will buzz my Congressman in Alabama to see if there is anything he can do.
I get to spend time in Washington about 4 or 5 times a year.

I hate to say it but it is inevitable that the asian carp will end up in the Great Lakes.  They are just too close for it not to happen.  All that needs to happen is for a seagull or some other bird land in asian carp invested water.  Get some eggs on its body.  Then fly to Lake Michigan and land in it.  With that being said we need to do everything possible to slow it down and postpone the inevitable.  I just hope that when, and not if, they get here they don't turn out to be the doom of the Great Lakes.  After all the Zebra Mussels and the Gobbies were expected to devistate the Great Lakes fishing and the fishing is pretty darn good right now.  Hopefully the same thing will happen with the Asian Carp when they arrive.  Plus with the speed that our governments move at they will finally agree on what to do to prevent them for getting into the Great Lakes after they are already there. When will we ever learn that we just can bring invasive species into our ecosystems? @--0--0127

I agree, keep them out if you can. They are fun to shoot but reek havoc on a river/lake ecosystem.
