Hunting Pictures
« on: December 18, 2009, 08:52:48 PM »
Here is a picture of me with a ram that I killed while on a hunt with my husband. It's great to both enjoy hunting and have a love for the outdoors. My husband and I met while on a hog hunt. He came to Texas for a hunt on the "Cactus Patch" ranch and I was his guide. We have a unique story that I am very proud of!

It is a Barbados/Mouflon mix...but more Mouflon than Barbados we think...

My husband says we cannot call it pure Mouflon because the two herds had merged and we are unsure when this happened. So better to call it a mix than have some one call us out about it...

It was .223, took my ram at 46 yards, with a Hornady 55 grain V-Max through the shoulder...D.R.T.

One of the best performing bullets on the market.

i was curious how those bullets would perform on game. i know they are mostly match bullets, but they have a high ballistic coefficient and are very accurate. thanks for the info. nice ram btw.
