Well, he showed
« on: December 15, 2009, 09:21:57 PM »
Everything went perfect until the last second.  My first wallhanger was standing 40 yards from me and I was going to get everything on video!      Yeah, right.    I was sick to be polite about it.  I'm sorry the video is so short, but I had a lot of language editing to do.  DT

What happened?  I heard a click but couldn't make out why he ran.

Russcat, as you can see it was late when he came out.  I film with a Sony Handicam with the flip out viewing screen on the side.  I really think there was a small amount of light cast on to me from the screen, enough that he was able to catch my movement.  Lesson learned.  DT

If you haven't already, you should take some black tape and cover the little red "recording" light on the front of the camera.  A buddy told me he had deer busting him all the time and couldn't figure out why for the longest.  He covered the little light and it seems to have solved the problem.  Just thought I'd throw that in.

I can hardly stay still enough to shoot - amazes me that you guys try to video the whole thing.  Keep trying, I'd love to see you drop that buck.
