Anyone who lives in the south and has ever gone in the woods and pushed out a bunch of straw and leaves to make a place to sit knows exactly what our earth scent smells like. It's Dirt-in-a-Bottle. That old timer was exactly right about the type of cover scent to use.

he knew where to go and kill a big buck first morning of rifle every year he always had a hunt during season people would put in 10 dollars biggest buck won first weekend he'd have chili and bar-aque and all the lies you could listen too from other hunters he'd take what was left after buying stuff to make chili and bar-aque and buy a deer rifle with the remaining money for the person that won the hunt he never got in it he was my uncle he was born about 150 years too late he'd been a perfect mountain man  boy was those the days when he died about 11 years ago his wife stopped having the hunt  he luved to see deer that people killed everyone used to bring their deer to his house so he could look at it and weight it.

Hey TT,  Can you still buy the Shines acorn lure?   I haven't seen it in years!  I tried several bottles of this attractant a few years ago but the only things that I brought in were Flies, ants and bees!  Have you had success using this?

hey RR,

I just got some pic's from a guy who just poured out a Liquid Lick without adding the water. That's not what we suggest but I am going to post one on my website. You can actually see the lick on the ground in front of the deer. Check it out when you have a minute.
