i really love my glass over slate by straight creek calls i got at the expo this weekend - we'll see how it works in about 7 months ;) i also enjoy working a mouth call - seems i have a little more control with it

I like a mouth call the best. I can have my hands free and not move anything. When you are hunting with a bow you don't have 4 hands.

Slate but I have been playing with wing bone yelper , plus they are fun to make .

seriously I don't have a favorite, I use a combination of all five.
Yes, all five Box, Slate, Mouth, Home made, and where legal Electronic.

I have several of each but I would say that my glass slate call and mouth calls are my favorite. I have found that when something doesn't work I will try them all. You never know. I have had birds that won't respond to one and then absolutely explode with another. I carry them all just in case.
