Bearded Hen
« on: September 07, 2009, 06:18:24 AM »
Has anyone shot a bearded hen?  How long was the beard?  Did you have it mounted?  I have my eye on a bearded hen that has been coming into my yard most of the summer, although I prefer to shot a nice big tom.

I have had two of them in my backyard, sometimes they come in separately, sometimes together.  One has two chicks, the other one comes in with a normal hen, and 5 chicks.
