Camera pics - Franklin County, AL

This lease is 700 acres. It is on the edge of a small town, I joined this year. There are 6 of us. I have taken many pics of different does and fawns. Besides these bucks, there is a decent 7 and 8 pt, a big 8 and a monster 9. I have heard about a 150 class 10 pt. More pics to follow. More deer than you can shake a stick at for only 700 acres. Not much hunting on surrounding properties.

Rice bran. It is about $6.25 per 50# bag. 12 percent protein/fat/fiber. I also mixed in some apple flavored high protein deer pellets; local made.

Pictures taken by WGI S2 flash. I cleared out the pine thicket, put down 100# rice bran and deer showed up 5 hours later. This is good travel route. Camera only took pics for 12 hours. I hope that I put in some bad batterries.

I do not know about co-ops but three local feed/seed stores in the area carry it. Price will depend on where the bran comes from. I have seen it as high as $10 per 50#.

Try local feed/stores.
