We have wolves in the Upper Peninsula, but I'm sure they are not as big as those on the photos.  I don't think I want to meet one of those bad boys in the woods.

They really need to have a Timberwolf season up here in Northeastern Minnesota.  They really are cool to listen to, kinda send chills down the spine when they are within 50 yds.  There are way too many of them up this way though. There are a few that get that big up here.  I've seen at least 3 that have been close to 200+.  Wolves kill alot of deer up here.  The moose population is going down up here too thanks to them darn  @--0--0138 critters and also due to the worm that affects the moose pop. I think they have opened up wolf seasons in Montana, Idaho, or Wyoming?? hopefully MN soon.
My cousin shot at a 8 pointer @ 150 yds on the run a few years back at about 8 in the morning.  He was sure he missed. Got down out of his stand at 10:30, wolves had eaten both hind quarters and part of a front shoulder..

That is insane!  Are those real or photoshopped? I never thought they got that big.  I am glad we don't have them.

I just showed my brother in law and he said "cool.  who's kid is that holding it up?"  @--0--0105

I think If I were to hunt something that big, I would want something semi-auto, a large caliber, and a large clip.

I am glad to know we  don't have them here, coyotes are bad enough. It makes me sort of sad to see them being killed they are such beautiful and social animals. Ok I am not a tree hugger I understand population control. Just a thought can you imagine what would happen if deer weren't hunted and controlled  --7-8-9
