Just want to know if anyone knows how long a game cam would last if you left it out set on video with the 6 volt batt.??

that is a good question chief - my d-40 kinda like yours but not really - last about 2 months on video - it only takes day video and a preview shot of what it is about to record - try this site and see if they can help you if no one here can

 Let us know how the video's turn out. I'm in the market for a new cam to replace my wildview. The pics and video were real grainy before the ants moved into the camera case. What MP is that? The wildview was 2MP.
