I think they'd be on my hit list tool.  Is your IR the visible light kind or the invisible light?
It is the invisible light kind, no red glow that is what the RC-60 is all about.

3000 pic's and still at 75% what kind of batteries does it use?
Believe it or not just regular C batteries, 6 of them, and the funny thing was these were the el cheapo ones, not duracell or enegizer. The camera is pretty amazing for battery life and it is so fast that the still shots look like video, and I only had it in the three shot mode with 15 second rest period. You can set it to continous rapidfire mode. I reset it this time with the three shot mode but I put in a 1 minute delay between pics, 3176 pics are a little too much to wade through.

The first pic is a young one that has some growing I will let him walk another year.

The second and third pic  is one shaping up to be on my hit list, he still has about 2 months growing to do.

On another note these are pics from my new rc-60. My reconyx gave me three thousand pictures plus in a month and still had 75% battery life.
In my opinion this camera is as good as it gets. The debate between flash and IR and whether flash scares deer is over for me. Ihave a cuddeback with flash set up also, and have had it for several years. The cuddeback is on a feeder and i only gets three or 400 pics before battery dies. I very rarely get the same deer twice in a photo except young ones. Once the camera goes off the deer split for a while. The IR reconyx had deer staying for an hour plus at a mineral site, literally gettin 100 pics of one deer. Also I am seeing older deer on the IR Reconyx that I have never seen on my flash cuddeback. So in my opinion the flash scares deer.

That is some great looking bucks.....So were do I see the camera?
Its not always about the Harvest. Its about all the events & memories the Good Lord Blessed you with during the Hunt. Those are the Real Trophys!Remember to Love this land & Pass It on(25years experience of chasin Beards & Bucks)
