Grand Slam
« on: August 09, 2009, 10:50:56 PM »
I hope to start working towards this goal next year. I have taken Easterns in several states. Was looking for help with possibly outfitters (best places to go) for the Osceola, Rio and Merriam. Has anyone hunted the Goulds north of the border?

We have plenty of Merriams out here.  Don't really need outfitters out here.  Just DIY and we have seen many turkeys and shot some  on the DIY plan.  Check out South Dakota GFP website.  the link is
Ethical hunting isn't just about perfect shot placement.  It's also the knowledge that you are an ethical hunter and a true sportsman.  Enjoy the hunt and the experience, whether you shoot something or not.   Live every day as if it's your last.
There's a reason it's called hunting, not shopping
